DHHS Parking  Lot Restrictions

Please remember - now that schools are back in session, there is towing-enforced No Parking on school lots! More details below from our neighbors at Digital Harbor High School. The new school year is here and we want neighbors and the school to co-exist without conflict. 1. The Digital Harbor parking lot is PRIVATE. Just because Digital Harbor is a public school, it does not mean that the public can park there at all times. Area 19 parking permits are not valid on the school lot. To be neighborly, Digital Harbor allows limited parking when the lot is not in use. 2. The lot may be used by other groups - occasional evenings and weekends. We park cars on the lot during Ravens games, sporting events, fireworks and the like. We also allow local festival and church parking. Towing will be enforced during all these times. 3. During school hours the paved and gravel lots MUST be available to faculty and staff. We have 150 employees who have the right to park. 4. We allow neighbors to park when the lots (paved and gravel) are not in use: · Weekdays 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM. YOU MUST BE OFF THE LOT BY 7:00 AM, or you will be towed. · Weekends (If not posted that towing is enforced- see blue sign at lot entry.) 5. Never park in a handicapped spot, reserved spot along the school wall or in and entry/exit roadway. You can be towed. 6. If your car is illegally parked, you can be issued a Digital Harbor parking violation. You can be towed and/or be given a Baltimore City parking ticket. 7. Please check the blue sign at the entry off of Covington Street. It will show the month, day and times that the lot is in use for another purpose. We have cars towed, so please do not park. 8. The white sign gives details about the Frankford Towing Company 6300 Belair Road. The price for getting your vehicle back can is $250- $500. I am sure you want to avoid that as well as the inconvenience of retrieving it. Thanks for your understanding! We look forward to peaceful co-existence. If you wish to get in touch- please e-mail: abowden@bcps.k12.md.us
