Federal Hill South TreeUp

Come help plant trees and clean up existing trees while meeting other locals on the South Baltimore Peninsula. We are looking to plant new trees in empty tree pits, and remove weeds and add mulch around existing trees. The event is sponsored by FHSNA, SOBO Green & TreeBaltimore.

Please meet at St. Ignatius Church (black top area) at 9am to sign-in and get a cup of coffee before we head out in small groups.

Trees, tools & planting expertise will be provided by TreeBaltimore. No experience is required. Please wear outdoor work clothes and gloves if you have them, and bring your own refillable water bottle.

We need 2-4 people to arrive at 7am to help move trees (you can then leave early if you need to!); please email MySoBoGreen@gmail.com if you'd like to help with that, or if you have any questions.

Let's beautify the streets of Baltimore!

FHSNA Community Dumpster/Clean-Up/Green-Up - Saturday, November 10 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Federal Hill South Neighborhood Association for our fall Clean Up, Green Up Community Event! Partake in the wonders of the community dumpster, borrow tools to beautify your property, and take one (or two) of our free trash bags to get the job done. If you lack dumpster fodder, come for the coffee, doughnuts, and community bonding! Meet your neighbors and marvel at how quickly Fed Hill South can fill a dumpster.

This event is scheduled to start at 8:00 am but the time may change slightly depending on dumpster delivery.

Where: The intersection of Gittings and Riverside
