Neighborhood Clean-up - Saturday, September 10

Volunteers needed to help clean up our neighborhood!

The next community clean-up of the year is scheduled for Saturday, September 10th from 8:30 am - 11:30 am.  A dumpster should be delivered that morning at the corner of Battery and Gittings between 6 am and 9 am.  (If there is no space for the dumpster, it won't be dropped off. Thanks in advance for not parking across from the St. Ignatius blacktop on Friday night and/or moving your car by 5:55 am on Saturday.)

Assuming a dumpster arrives, we'll also provide brooms, rakes, shovels and trash bags for neighbors to borrow to clean up alleys, sidewalks, tree pits and other shared areas. We may also provide some donuts and coffee.

We need a few volunteers to help supervise the dumpster and make sure it is packed efficiently.  It is always filled to the top when it is hauled away.
Thanks to the Baltimore Tool Bank, Baltimore Department of Public Works and FHSNA members and volunteers for tools, the dumpster and coffee & donuts.

****Check the following event page on Nextdoor on Saturday morning to confirm the dumpster has arrived before lugging your old trash cans and other waste to Gittings & Battery************
