Digital Harbor High School Alliance 501 (c)(3)

Digital Harbor High School College Scholarship Fund

Administered by Baltimore Community Foundation Financially Supporting Digital Harbor High School Graduates in College

The Event

Attendees at the 5th annual DigiBall will enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, entertainment and silent auction bidding.  Open bar and live bands are included.

The Goal

From its inception, the fund has enabled over 70 students, some more than once, to “bridge the gap” between other financial aid and total college costs.  Last year’s DigiBall raised approximately $50,000.  This year, our goal is to raise over $60,000 so that we can increase awards to more graduating DHHS seniors entering college as well as to past scholarship recipients who continue to attend college.

The Scholarship Graduates

Most of the scholarship recipients are the first in their families to attend college.  While a few attend local community colleges, the majority are attending major universities, such as Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, University of Maryland College Park, Towson, and Loyola.

Information and Donation

Please visit www.dhhsalliance.org for more information, to buy tickets ($75) for the DigiBall Gala and to make a donation to the fund.  You may also donate directly to the DHHS-CSF at BCF www.bcf.org. Send checks made to DHHS Alliance (preferred) or to BCF and mail to Jim Shapiro, 2545 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21223.  We also appreciate items for our silent auction.

Your generosity can help bring real change to Baltimore by providing the opportunity for DHHS graduates to advance and become productive citizens.  You can profoundly affect the next generation, now preparing to create our future.
